Meet our Staff

DR. Steve Remillard, MA, ACRB III, DC

Dr. Steve is both an Honor Graduate from St. Francis College in Western Pennsylvania, and a proud graduate of Life University School of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia with high honors.  Additionally, he holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.  He is a former full-time faculty member of Life University School of Chiropractic. He is currently an Adjunct Faculty member of Harrisburg Area Community College and has taught courses in psychology, and physical education focusing on core muscle stability as well as anatomy.

Dr. Steve is most proud of his postgraduate work as Board Certified in Physical Rehabilitation.  Being able to assess physical function and prescribe appropriate exercises takes his practice to the next level of not only pain removal, but prevention of future injury.

Amy Hoezee, NCMTB, PMT

Amy is an honor graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage. This program is nationally recognized, whose graduates are sought out by leading spa’s and professional sports teams. Amy is also a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist by the National Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and a Certified Pregnancy Massage Therapist. These certifications are the highest standard in the profession and very few “massage therapists” obtain these credentials.

Ashley K. McCloskey

Ashley is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist who maintained a 4.0 grade-point average throughout her training at Western Technical College in El Paso, TX. Ashley dedicates her practice to helping people work towards a healthier, happier lifestyle with deep tissue and neuromuscular massage techniques. She is experienced in Fibromyalgia therapy and injury recovery, and has an excellent success rate. Her integrative massage therapy techniques are customized for each individual according to their specific needs.

When not treating patients, Ashley can be found offering a warm welcome to patients to Capital Chiropractic from behind the front desk.

 

Julie Stoessel

Julie is our Office Manager and she has over 10 years experience working with the ins and outs of personal, work place, and auto related insurances.  Julie can help you understand benefits in the ever-changing insurance world.  Julie's background in health care allws her to easily network with your other health care providers, providing you with seamless integrated care. She is also excellent at helping you understand your legal rights and is comfortable working with attorneys to assure your legal needs are met.
